Dr. Jillian Joyce

Jillian Joyce, DDS

Dr. Jillian Joyce is a Northwest Indiana native and a graduate of Boone Grove High School, where she earned her dental assisting certification alongside her high school diploma. She was also honored with induction into the school’s Academic and Athletic Hall of Fame. She continued her education at Indiana University Northwest, graduating cum laude with her bachelor’s degree, and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. During this time, she also completed coursework at Butler University to obtain a business certificate.

Dr. Joyce is the owner of Carmel Distinctive Dental, where she has proudly served as the sole owner for almost six years. In addition to her clinical work, she is an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech, where she teaches dental hygiene and dental assisting students. Education is a true passion for Dr. Joyce, as she values the importance of lifelong learning in both her profession and personal growth.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association®, Indiana Dental Association and the Indianapolis District Dental Society, where she also serves as a board member. Dr. Joyce was also elected to serve on the board of the Indiana Dental Association’s Insurance Trust.

Dr. Joyce takes great pride in fostering a welcoming, family-oriented environment at her practice. She especially enjoys caring for multiple generations of families and is known for her warm, approachable demeanor that helps patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

Outside of the office, Dr. Joyce enjoys spending time with her husband, JT, their son, Jace, and their cat, James Bond. Her interests include spending time with family, mahjong, golf, fishing, gardening, and making forts with her son.

Bianca

Bianca – Business Assistant

Bianca attended Andrean High School from 2015 to 2019. After high school, she went off to Indiana University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and a theatre minor in 2023. She joined us in January 2024, and loves working with our amazing patients and her awesome coworkers every day since they never fail to make her smile. Bianca helps keep our practice running smoothly, taking care of everything in the front office and assisting in the treatment rooms when she can. Bianca is excited to work under Dr. Joyce who inspires her every day to someday open her own dental practice.

Bianca is from Northwest Indiana and is the oldest of three children. Her two younger siblings are adopted from Guatemala. Bianca’s passion for dentistry developed because of her siblings, who inspired her to take a mission trip to Panama in the summer of 2022. She hopes to travel to other countries to provide dental care in the future. Outside the office, Bianca loves to read, watch movies and paint. She also loves to run and is currently training for a half marathon in the spring and a full marathon in the fall. Bianca's dedication to dentistry continues, as she has been accepted to IU School of Dentistry, where she will join the class of 2028 in July.

Joni

Joni - Dental Hygienist

Joni became part of our team in May 2022. She graduated from the Ivy Tech dental hygiene program in 2019 and also has a marketing degree from Taylor University. When performing a dental cleaning, Joni enjoys educating patients on how they can improve and maintain good oral health. She loves the fun energetic team she has the opportunity to work with and the extent of patient care that is given.

She has been married to her husband, Weston, for eight years and together they have three boys, Liam, Jude and Tate. Her hobbies include playing with her boys, being outside and dancing in her car. She loves meeting new people and being a dental hygienist.

Lyndee

Lyndee - Dental Hygienist

Lyndee completed her Associate in Health Sciences degree at Ivy Tech Dental Hygiene program in 2016. She is a recipient of the 2016 Colgate Star Award for clinical care and extraordinary compassion in patient care. Lyndee joined our team in 2023 and loves it! She appreciates Dr. Joyce’s honest and ethical treatments, loves meeting our patients, and enjoys her coworkers. Lyndee has great compassion for our patients and is dedicated to giving oral health education in a comforting setting.

Lyndee is from Alexandria and has lived in Indiana her whole life. She has two beautiful daughters, Bella and Maelyn, and outside the office enjoys dancing, crafting, exercising, and gaming.

Kailey – Dental Assistant

Kailey joined our team in November 2025, and enjoys being part of a positive and fun environment where she is surrounded by those who share her same passion. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree in biology, and plans to attend dental school after graduating. Kailey strives to contribute to maintaining a welcoming environment and helping patients have a positive experience each time they visit us. She is eager to learn and works each day to improve.

Kailey has had many great learning experiences here at Carmel Distinctive Dental that make her even more excited to begin her career in the dental field. In her free time, she enjoys being on the lake, photography, running on trails and growing flowers in her garden.
